Installation
1 saw off the seamless steel pipe of proper length and remove the burrs at the end. The end face of the pipe shall be perpendicular to the axis, and the angle tolerance shall not be greater than 0.5 °. If the pipe needs to be bent, the straight length from the end face of the pipe to the bending part shall not be less than three times the length of the nut.
2 nuts and ferrule are sleeved on seamless steel pipe. Pay attention to the direction of nut and ferrule, and do not install them in the opposite direction.
3. Apply lubricating oil on the thread and ferrule of preassembled joint body, insert the pipe into the joint body (the pipe must be inserted to the end), and tighten the nut by hand.
4 tighten the nut until the ferrule is stuck in the pipe. This turning point can be felt by the increase of tightening torque (pressure point).
5 when the pressure point is reached, tighten the compression nut by 1 / 2 turn.
6 remove the preassembled joint body and check the insertion of the cutting edge of the ferrule. The visible protruding belt must fill the space of the ferrule end face. The ferrule can rotate slightly, but it can not move axially.
7. For final installation, apply lubricating oil to the thread of the joint body in actual installation, and tighten the compression nut with it until the perceptible tightening force increases. Then tighten 1 / 2 turn to complete the installation.
● repeated installation
All ferrule joints can be reassembled many times, but the parts shall be free of damage and clean.
1 insert the pipe into the connector body until the ferrule is close to the conical surface in the head body, and tighten the nut by hand.
2 tighten the nut with a wrench until the tightening torque increases sharply, and then tighten 1 / 4 to 1 / 2 turn.
Inspection
Dismountable pipe can be removed to check whether the assembly meets the requirements: the pipe at the end of ferrule should have even slight bulge. The ferrule cannot slide back and forth, but slight rotation is allowed.
